Referee of the Year 2025
The Editors are pleased to announce that Aja Watkins (University of Wisconsin-Madison) has been named Referee of the Year for 2025. Dr Watkins wrote careful, extensive, and constructive comments on multiple submissions and did so with incredible efficiency. On behalf of the Journal, the Editors express their deepest gratitude to Dr Watkins for her stellar contributions to the review process.
For their services to the community, winners of our Referee of the Year award are bestowed lifetime honorary membership of the British Society for the Philosophy of Science, along with the envy of friends and family.
The Editors would also like to confer Honourable Mention upon Dustin Lazarovici (Technion, Israel Institute of Technology) and Matteo Colombo (Tilburg University), in recognition of their excellent work as referees in 2025. Both agreed to our numerous refereeing requests and returned insightful guidance in a timely fashion.
This year, we recognize Aja Watkins, Dustin Lazarovici, and Matteo Colombo, in particular, but, to be clear and as always, we appreciate all our referees for their contribution to this journal and to the philosophy of science more generally. The enterprise cannot be sustained without your efforts.
