EDITORS PAST & PRESENT

The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science was first published in 1950, ten years before the BSPS came into existence. Its first editor, A. C. Crombie, and his colleagues were members of the Philosophy of Science Group, itself part of the British Society for the History of Science.
